Here’s a new book that will tell you everything you always wanted to know about pulling a trailer with your motorcycle.

It’s not a very popular form of transporting gear, so if you’re going to do it, better find out more before you pull your caravan with your motorcycle.

Video: French No Phone While Driving Campaign

Another hard hitting and shocking safety campaign by the French government.

This one is to tell people to stop using phones while driving. The TV Ad has a good shock effect.

Video: Dakar 2009 Scrutineering

Here’s a 4 minutes video clip I made of the Dakar 2009 Scrutineering at Le Havre, France.
The camera had a bit of a problem, since the sound dies halfway every segment. So don’t adjust your computer, it’s my camera.
The clip shows motorcycles, cars and trucks.

Dakar 2009: Photos From The Scrutineering

As chance will have it, the Dakar 2009 scrutineering is held some 35 kilometers from my house in Le Havre.
Here are 44 photos I made this morning of the event.
It’s interesting to see how a well oiled machine like the Dakar organization has got it together.

The AMA Supermoto Championship season-ending doubleheader at Infineon Raceway near Sonoma, Calif., closed the year in dramatic fashion, with come-from-behind rides, mechanical breakdowns and dominant performances deciding the discipline’s three titles.
Speed and perseverance helped Troy Herfoss win his first premier-class No. 1 plate in the AMA Supermoto Championship, which features four-stroke motocross-based motorcycles displacing up [...]

HONDA Motorcyles and the Global Credit Crisis

Honda Motor Co’s motorcycle sales could stop growing next year after an expected 16 percent jump this term as the global credit crisis catches up with emerging markets, a top executive said on Tuesday.

KTM Reacts To Recession Risk

KTM plans to cut motorcycle production by 10 percent and lay off 60 workers this year.
“As the risk of a recession has become greater, we have to assume that the relevant sales markets for KTM will become smaller,” KTM CEO Stefan Pierer said.

Rain, Sleet Or Snow, The Post Keeps On Going

We all know the saying that the mail gets delivered no matter what, snow, sleet or rain.
I guess it’s true, even in the other country of cheese, Switzerland.

1600cc Class Motorcycles – The Forgotten Bunch

1600cc Class Motorcycles – The Forgotten BunchUsed to be that 1600cc bikes were kings of the hill. We road-test the new Harley Fat Bob, Kawasaki Vulcan 1600, fuel-injected Star Road Star, Suzuki Boulevard C90 and fresh Victory Kingpin 8-Ball to see what they still bring to the table.
It doesn’t seem like so many moons ago [...]

2008 Suzuki Boulevard C109R – A Long Time Comin’

2008 Suzuki Boulevard C109R – A Long Time Comin’Suzuki’s mainstream 1800 proves worth the wait.
It seems like we have been waiting for this bike a big part of forever. When Suzuki introduced its first mega-cruiser, the M109R, back in 2005, it was obviously an image leader, but still not the Boulevard line’s headline attraction. Sure, [...]
